Mail Chimp is an online email marketing application that helps you design emails, send them to your subscribers, and track the performance of your email marketing campaigns.
With their Forever Free plan, you can store up to 500 subscribers and send up to 3,000 emails per month, for free. As your business grows, you can move up to various monthly paid plans that allow unlimited emails for different amounts of subscribers. They even offer pay-as-you-go pricing with rollover credits if you need something a little more flexible.
MailChimp offers free HTML templates to help you get your email campaigns started quickly while still looking professionally made. If you’d rather code them on your own, you can do that too. Just import your code or use the user-friendly template designer tools to get started. For those who would prefer someone walk them through the process, MailChimp offers over 100 free video podcasts via iTunes with step-by-step instructions on how to do everything from account set up to your initial email campaign and more!
If you want, MailChimp can automatically manage your sign-ups, un-subscribes, and bounce-back cleaning. It also integrates with a litany of web applications such as PayPal, Salesforce, Facebook, Freshbooks, and Twitter. Plugins have been developed to connect it to Magento, Shopify, and Drupal, among others. Last, but not least, you can even integrate it with Google Analytics to track the conversion rate and ROI of each campaign you send.
